^at night too?

i have heard the sensor mirrors work at night becuase they intensify light and what not.is this true?

i ski alot at night and in the midwest... so i dont have alot of ultra sunny days, but i do take some trips and ski during the day. whats better: smith phenom with sesor mirror lens or spy soldier with bronze/gold mirror lens and a clear lens both end up costing me about the same...
