With some serious powder Mad River Glen is pretty sick, but loon has some great terrain.

Gores a solid family mountain but no town. Okemo's also pretty great i likem both

Best time of the year for gore is in february right after a big snow storm. I did it last year and it was sick. So you might want to wait a little.
