I'm used to seeing sidecut radius listed as meters of turning radius for a certain ski length, like 18.5m radius for a 176cm ski. But K2 lists sidecut in millimeters, which I assume is not the turning radius at all but how much of the ski is cut away at the waist. How am I supposed to compare...

I've been renting twin tip demos and love 'em. Don't spend much time in the park but am interested in learning some stuff. I love to ski backwards, so I like the idea of a symmetric ski. But people keep telling me they're better used as park skis. Would I have problems on all-mountain terrain...
