I'm moving to Portland for the next winter season and am debating on which resort to go to for the season. I've been to both, but only a couple times each. I ski park, but love skiing the trees and stuff too. Which resort is the better option?

I don't get how to make a big backcountry kicker when the snow doesn't pack. Can someone tell me? Thanks
