Skiing is an evolving sport and even though I don't much care to admit it we owe a lot of the current evolution of our sport to snowboarding. Even the vary skis that I import and distribute into Canada would not be if snowboarding had not reared it's head. The original prototype for the Fat-ypus A-Lotta's were made from two cut down snowboards. Even the rocker type ski design was inspired from the snowboard industry. Skiing is here to stay, old-school or new-school, because of the new approach to skiing and our ever evolving nature even the new-school will be thought of as old school as we move into our ever expanding future!
