I don't think salomon has any wood core skis for next season, perhaps with the exception of the Dumont pro model. I see more broken Armada's/Lines/K2 wood skis that are 'super durable' than I do Salomon's. How is that?

As of September when the sale of Salomon is finalized Salomon will have no affiliation with adidas anymore, and the Reebok/Adidas merger has absolutely nothing to do with Salomon. At the end of the day this all has nothing to do with the fact that Salomon is a freeride brand. Look at TenEighty...
