I currently ride and have always rode skis that are 180 in length but I always feel like theyre just too bulky and heavy for me. I'm about 5'9 160 and I'm considering downsizing to a mid to low 170 but i'm not sure if its the right choice. Anyone have any input?

I'm in the market for new bindings and am wondering which have the best brakes that are least likely to break. I currently have rossignol axial2 and I have been through way too many brakes from ejecting switch and they just snap. Just tired of wasting 20-40$ each time they snap.
