I've been riding Spatulas for about 3 seasons. They work best in fresh but are OK on anything soft, which would include groomed. I ride 'em everywhere except park. The only time they DON'T work is on solid ice. They are true reverse camber reverse sidecut skis. I'd like to upgrade to a pair...
I like 'em. Have two pairs of skis mounted with Mojo 15s. Excellent safety features. Reasonable price. I've ridden other binders but won't try to say which are the best.
Tues. the 23rd in Portland Mcmenamins say the movie starts at 5:30pm. Maybe I'll be early? I wouldn't want to get there at 6:30pm and have it be half over.
I like the safety of the Mojo 15s. Have seen pics of them mounted on the Fatypus but haven't ridden 'em on any fat skis. A wide brake like about 105mm is available from Tyrolia (fits Mojo) that can be bent. I'm not arguing about the toe piece torque question but whatever binders you use are...
You don't need to be afraid of rockered skis. They're the best. Of course it's easy for me to say try to demo before you buy. Maybe you don't have that option.
Yeah Today, Rose Quarter. I was there in the nose bleed section. Dew Tour will do snowsports competition this season (first time I think). Got home and looked at his short segment in "Enjoy".
