hi, I ski the east coast (lots of ice and shitty snow) and am looking for the cheapest ski I can find that works to a fault I would like it to be twin tip and I weigh about 150 pounds at 6 feet tall And I really don't care how stiff it is or if it works in powder or not, as long as it works...

I'm trying to use uhmw as ski bases for some skis that I'm making, and am wondering where people get their uhmw plastic from. *Wether it be for boxes or skis* Also, I'm questioning as to wether or not this should be in gear talk.
