sizing park skis down from "regular" skis

i usually stick to mid 70's, i ride the scratch 174s right now (6' 2' 175 lbs), but last year i bought some old 1260's at 169 i believe and landed 540 first try. Its alll a preferance thing. If you dont want short, dont co short, do what you feel comfortable at. The lines suck all mountain and i...

    this pisses me off!

it is ALL in the head man!! I know how it feels, you need to get completely stoked and try and forget about eatin shit. The way i like to get a fresh start is to find a decent table with a not to hard landing, got kinda slow and spin a few 360s. After that im set.Once you start to gain your...

    mounting skis

DEFINITELY DON'T TRY IT... I work at a shop and even with a jig you have to make sure you dont do anything stupid. Without it is a very bad idea. A few weeks ago we had some skis in that i believe the ass clowns at ski market mounted because they were Nashoba Valley rentals, and whover did it...

Pretty sure these are next years Enemy's??

yeah man, salomon may not have changed their design in a long while, but they are a pretty sick ski and the competition is finally catching up to them. They were way ahead of their time so they didnt really have to change them. A new design would be nice, but whatever, nice ski. Those Public...

    Waxing skis.

after the wax is spread out on your skis, move the iron slowly from the tip to the tail about 2 times or so. This helps distribute the wax and heats your base to let it absorb the most amount of wax possible. Do not go wicked slow, just a good, constant pace. If you hit a large clump of wax, and...

    how to land 360???

I learned on a small table on a warm day so the snow was soft. I got a bit more speed every time, so the first couple times i was goin a bit slow and would lank like 270 and catch an edge and fall. That helped me build my confidence and made me realize i wasnt gonna get hurt. But coming up to...

    Jamie Pierre- Best Ever

There comes a point when it stops being so much of talent and just starts to be a stunt, which althought it may be cool, doesnt take as much talent as doing like double backflips of shit like mcconkey does. Jumping of a cliff like that doesnt take much talent, it sure as hell takes balls, but it...

    cheap bindings

if you tell a shop you need bindings that will hold up but cant go above $100, im sure they will hook you up. I work in a shop and i know we have some old stock and stuff lying around. On my lines i actually have like a 5 year old pair of markers that i broke once and they hold up surprisingly...

What should i do about this????

a light layer of epoxy will fix that. It is a 10 second job, just let it fully dry.

does this gash need to be fixed???

hey man, don't p-tex it. p-tex will come out really shitty and may not hold. Epoxy it, run it over a base grinder or have a local shop do it, then put some new wax on. It will hold much better than p-tex and will be clear so you can still show off your rad core shot.

    question on legs of rail...

yeah, i figured i'd have to cut a curved chunk out of them to give it the most surface area but i am a slacker and a U seems harder that a V. I was just tryin to see if there were any secrets or tricks to makin them or whatever. So whats the best way to cut the curve out of the rail?

    question on legs of rail...

hey, im puttin 2 in diamter legs on a 2-in diameter steel rail, i was wondering, since the weld probably wouldnt hold if i did it flat, should i cut a groove in the top of the legs for the rail to sit in? Would it be better to cut a V shape or a U shape? What is the best method of cutting a...
