Squaw sets its closing date for Memorial Day every year. Last season it was on May 29. Squaw's park goes off in May- it's definitely worth it.

The set up is sweet. It's a brand new rail/box stairset feature that has never been hit before. They blew a ton of snow last night too and it's only $10.

I wouldn't move to Kirkwood. It's secluded. If you like secluded move to Mammoth. You can get a job at any ski resort pretty damn easily.

Tait's in Squaw is cool. It's more of a snowboard shop, but the sell skis and you get a highly discounted Squaw pass.

Cushing Crossing

Alpine's park sucks. They have a few big jumps and a cool road gap feature but other than that I'm pretty surprised Jon would be at Alpine giving some kid his poles.

Here in Tahoe we are getting later winters and people speculate that it's from global warming. We got 623 inches at Squaw this season but over 300 of those inches fell in March and April and we barely had any until January.

definitely do not be a ski instructor. you will be at the bottom of the totem poll vs. all the other instructers who have their PSIA level 2/3's so you will get people who have never skied before and spend your whole season in a wedge yelling "pizza." If you know a lot about park riding and...

Squaw Valley is on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe . . . hmm
