Ok, so i'm trying to figure out the difference between dv and hdv tapes? i'm filming in hd now and not really sure what to use? i have always thought hdv tapes are for hd filming? right, wrong? any feedback welcome...

just looking to clear up a question. searchbared and came up with nothing. i have heard that if you hoot with two cameras, or pull footage some another camera, one being HD and the other SD, and use them both in editing, the SD clips will drag the quality of the HD clips downto SD? any truth?

looking for basic wide angle lens, hd camera, so are the expensive lenses worth the money or is like really any wide angle about the same? do you get what you pay for?
