Assuming you're right... how do people who aren't native to the U.S. get counted for big purse U.S. events, if the criteria is already having a presence at those events? That's a catch-22.

^ i second that. they're racers but nonetheless the kandahar club pioneered competitive skiing / downhill skiing in general, in mürren, switzerland, back in 1911 or so. yeah the british!
