Are you sure that's it? I think I can quite comfortably say many people express outright hatred towards the american public. Sure, it's their ignorance that people dislike, but they don't go so far as to attempt to show Americans where it is they think their ignorance lies. Michael Moore...

I think this movie shed a new light on Americans. Canadians are often instigators of across the board anti-American hatred. The American people are subject to very narrow media coverage (as are Canadians to a lesser extent). Can you hate people who only do and think in the only way the know how?

I'm definitely for giving flowers to guys Rebel! When giving flowers to girls, however, I think it's more appreciated if they're non-traditional.
