pi is about a math genius who starts going crazy. the fountain is hard to explain, it has three parallel storylines which weave together (one in medieval times about a conquistador, one in the present about a scientist trying to find a cure for death, and one in the future). just see them.

his movie before reqiuem was called pi, it was good too and his new one is "The fountain", it's amazing also

the turn feels cool because you're supposed to have about equal weight on each ski, so you really feel each carve in both skis instead of having pretty much all your weight on your downhill ski
