So i saw this in the news a while ago^ then saw this in an article recently^ some people claim its a Glacial Deposit, but it looks really strange. Theories anyone?

I shot this project this summer while on a roadtrip from California to Canada. Most of the shots were done using a D90 with an intervalometer. A lot of this was experimental, but I wanted to see what others thought of it. enjoy.
