Skiing alone ain't that bad at all. As has been said, you get to meet a bunch of chill people on the slopes and make new friends. Skiing is ALWAYS better than no skiing. One of my most memorable days of solo'ing happened at Sunday River - skied with Dumont for the better part of the day back...
