Just moved to the sun prairie/madison area and I'm wondering what the deal is with all the ski areas around here...ie best park? high speed lifts? rails? jumps? pipes? pass $$$? any info would be great...also what are the best shop(s) in the area?

Never worked there, but I'd get a job at a real ski shop. You're most likely gonna have to jump through a bunch of hoops to get anything proform/employee purchase, whereas at a smaller local shop it would be more straight hookups. But if your only option I'd say go for it...whatever you can...
