The other day I was talking with some of my roommates (I live with 15 snowboarders and one other skier) about the pros and cons of skiing vs snowboarding on rails. Skiers have a much easier time gripping/spinning, but snowboarders can press. I'm not saying skiers can't press or snowboarders...
