I saw a couple of threads about these skis so I figuered someone would be happy about this Me: 66 kg (145 pounds), 170 cm (5.6 feet), ski some comps, ski centered, like to try jibby stuff sometimes, live in Revelstoke this season, blah blah blah blah... somewhat similar skis I've tried...

Yepp, I can see you took care of them. But even though I take care of my skis you still end up with a shattered topsheet, broken skis or countless coreshots. I don't belive that skis are build to last longer then a season....

If you think that a sandwich construction feels dead, it's probably just the fact that you have a lack of either muscle strenght or skiingtechnique. And the otherway around, if you have the problem with cap skis feeling dead, youre probably pushing them too hard which causes you to "step thru"...
