well, thanks a bunch for your help on the second part though. so lets say i cant get my vx to upload, would you recommend that i a - get it fixed (i think like 350$) b- get a shitty cam and use it to upload (that way i wont wear out the heads on the vx as well) at any rate, thanks for your help

so i just got a vx1000 from a friend, and i'm having a little trouble with it. for some reason, my apple wont recognize it when i hook it up to firewire, even thug hit has recognized my other sony trv11 just fine. i was wondering if any of you have had a similar problems, or have suggestions...

i sanded the surface a little and then painted over it, which is why i could remove my paint job and leave the original madtrix graphic on there.

ther's two ways companies size skis; they either measure the linear length, or they measure the whole ski length, including the curve of the tip/tail. line probably does that. k2 is a company the measures linear length. i like that way better.
