No, scratches are foam, just like all the other rossis. From the B1 to the squad, Foam, foam, foam. If you drill a pair, you can see it is all foam. More foam than a rabid dog.

They are pretty stiff, they have metal under the topsheet tms don't.

They are lots of fun. They ski like stiff and wide troublemakers. I would highly recommend them.
