A couple weeks ago i broke my foot in my ski boots. They are full tilt descendant 6 size 26.5. I wear a shoe size 8 but im wondering if i shoud have gotten a size smaller.

I got my skis mounted in October at a local shop. I did not do any tightening of the screws but I just looked at my bases after getting them waxed and i see a bulge right where the screw is on the bottom. Should i loosen the screw or leave it?
