I ahven't watched the jon videoblog for awhile...actually didn't know they were only putting it up on his site and not on youtube anymore :P so i ahve a look at the Winterjam - posters & practice blog..and at around 4:30 i see jon standing there with these black gloves wiht a huge gawdy E on...

If all else fails take them into your local shop (one that actually knows about freeskiing and how to tune the skis) and get them to do it. And wax them straight off, factory wax is no good

it's personal prefernce, some people kill without poles, some kill with them but yeh, poles help more with balance, ever seen a tightrope walker? easier to go across with that massive lond pole for balance. personally i prefer poles

Isn't anyone with XL or bright/fluro clothing, twintips, stickers on their helmets or skis, a bandanna wrapped around their face just regarded as NS?

There's gotta be something about taking a year off and travelling winter around the world, ski the biggest mountains and the ebst parks, shred some pow pow, huck some cliffs, spray some gapers, camping in the lot waiting for the first lift...anything that opitimises our best memories of teh...

hopefully getting my new helmet on friday, K2 Indy with Audio...should be sick also booked my trip to Niseko for February next year, so that's going to be awesome
