you obviously don't ride much if you have to ask that. go demo a dh rig and find out. if you get any bike with about 6" front/rear suspension, you'll have a decent bike for anything and everything. (and i don't understand the dh forks on a hardtail... seems so bizarre)

photoshop 8 is photoshop CS, if you look on the loading splash, it says version 8.0. its nice. if your going to do straight vector images, use illustator, or else the pen tool would be fine. read your manual, it will have everything you'd need to know

buy quicktime, or you can get divx. don't waste 1000$ on final cut pro just to make videos websized.
