curious if anyone can give me a park update for Vail.. heading there friday after missing most of the season with an ankle sprain. hoping for a few decent days....
I recently did back to back weekends at Stratton and Loon. Not even close. LMP's flow is amazing (I've never felt so comfortable hitting that many jumps in a row).
They could use some more rails in there... and I miss the stair set up, but the pipe was great, and those jumps... hot dang.
randalls island would be the ONLY place i could see that actually happening... would still be pretty awesome though.
im surprise we didn't see Jon prancing around Soho with an orange mocha frappuccino..
i've been stuck living in new york for a while now, and everyone got it about right. make the haul to VT when you can (lower NY mtns are kind of a waste of time).
most importantly - flights from newark to burlington are about $100 round trip.
if you know anyone up there, it's the way to go...
i really liked loon the way it was. i only get up 20 times or so these days, and it's nice to know you'll always have a solid park if the snow sucks.
on the other hand... maybe they'll cut the pipe more often.
im pretty sure Loon provides the best user experiance in NH and possibly all of the east (if you consider location, natural and man made terrain, crowds, and cost).
im sure you really dont think that "Loon is gay". it's pretty fucking awesome.
