online retailer's can mark products down considerably. they buy in mass amounts from the company and get discounts. the skis alone were definitly atleast $500 without bindings. I may not be able to estimate prices with skis that well, but my first sport is MTB (street/park/dj, on a 26") and ive...

the skis were $599 plus tax bindings included... not sure what is was without them, but the skis, boots, and bindings came to about $900 tax in, $100 over my budget (ya, not the biggest budget...). theyll be fine for a year. i mean, they gotta be better than what they have at my local hill, right?
