My god, stories like these bring back shitty memories. My dad was on one the second plane that hit, and I my last phone call with him was the most incredibly painful thing I've ever had to go through. He said to look after my two younger siblings, to help my mom in any and every way possible, and that I was the man of the house now. I of course said yes to everything, that I'd miss him, and he made me promise to take that experience, his leaving forever, and use it to shape myself into someone I wanted to be, and someone who would benefit our cause. I'll never forget his last words... Allah hu Akbar.
