    Our Sport

I have a question that I'd love to hear some of your responses and thoughts on it: How do you view the state of our sport today? The feedback I'm curious about is ideas such as: -Do you think our sport is stagnent at the moment? -Do you think it still becoming more and more popular/'cool' in...

    Generations of professional skiers

Have been on the road for the past week so haven't been able to keep up on this thread that I started. Was great to read everyone's responses ! Too many to comment on... Speaking of the topic, I met Greg Stump today - was very cool I must say... Ride on.

    Generations of professional skiers

mattj - I enjoyed your last sentence, I can fully relate to that. I have skied A LOT in my life of 20 years, and I have yet to grow bored of the sport. Come springtime when the snow is melting, pow days are long gone, and the sun is shining, there comes a time when I am content moving on to...

    Generations of professional skiers

After coming across a few pictures of Glen Plake in the People section of the photo galleries, I got to thinking how it is pretty cool how our sport really has at least three different generations of 'professional skiers'. We have people such as Scot Schmidt and Glen Plake who really are our...

    Best all round skier

My vote goes to Sage Cattabriga-Alosa.

Up and coming big mountain skiers

I think Sage is pretty much already established as a big mountain skier so I wouldn't necessarily catagorize him as up-and-coming. I agree, definitely Jonny Law and Dana Flahr are the two top guys to keep your eyes on. -MRO

    Big mtn comps

Also - I'm pretty confident that none of the comps have a junior division. You'd have to lie about your age if you're under 18 if you expect to compete. The only event that I can think of that has a junior division would be the US Extremes in Crested Butte, CO
