What ski movie would you watch with friends who don't ski?

So if you were gonna sit down and watch a ski movie with your friends who don't ski, what movie would you put on? I'm thinking Refresh, good mix of everything, good big mountain segs and its got the history/storyline going.

    S7 vs super 7 188

Gonna try and find a good deal on one of these pairs at the end of the season, I'm 5'11 195 lbs. My dads got the 195 super 7s and I've tried them and liked them (night and day to my scratch BCs), but wanted some opinions before I get a pair because I haven't tried the standard S7s. My dad is 6'1...

    Sport chek for mounting bindings

So what do you think about getting bindings mounted at sport chek, I've heard people saying to stay away from it but is there a real reason for that? I mean, a big company like that must have certified techs to mount, jigs, etc. How hard could it be to center mount bindings on a pair of skis...

Need PARK binding advice quick: PX12 vs Marker 12.0 free

Hey guys, so I was set on getting a pair of Marker 12.0 free bindings for my afterbangs, but the more I read into it the more people seem unhappy with them. It seems they are prone to pre-releasing because of the biometric toe piece, and the quality of them in general isn't too great. I'm not...

    Skiing + public transit

Anyone do it? I just picked up a y2play pass from grouse (about an hour & 20 mins bus ride), I've packed everything up in a ski bag except the boots, and I think this is going to be a bigger pain in the ass than I thought, especially transferring busses downtown!

    Next season... snow?

So this year has been pretty shitty for the snow on average, el nino or whatnot. I've done some searching but cant really come up with anything, is there any "forecasts" for next season?

    Bindings for 177 Afterbangs

Title says it all, I'm looking for recommendations for a binding for 'bangs. Whats a lightweight but inexpensive binding that will do the trick for jibbing and small to medium sized jumps? I'm 190 lbs, will be using these skis strictly park.

    Binding gaps?

So I've always noticed when some folks are clicked into their bindings theres a huge gap between the sole of the boot and the ski, between the toe and heel piece. I was wondering if this is the fault of the binding, or the boots? Is there some advantage to being so high off your skis? I've...

    Invaders vs Afterbangs

For those who have skied BOTH, what are your impressions? I'm looking at picking up either last years invaders or this years afterbangs, leaning towards the 'bangs. Which one is lighter, which one has more pop, etc.

End of season deals for afterbangs

So I'm looking at getting some 177 afterbangs, the best prices I can find from online vendors with no tax/free shipping is $285. Its a good price, but I wouldn't mind waiting a few months to get them if I could get a better deal, do you think these skis will go on sale for significantly less at...

    Park ski recommendation

I've got my tax return coming up from last summers work so I want to invest in some strictly park skis. I currently ski 178 scratch bc wrs (yellow and white) for everything, I ski Baker, Big White and Whistler so I don't get into the park much. I picked up a y2play for grouse and want to improve...

Park ski for my 16 yr old sister

So my sister is taking an interest in getting into the park, which I'm pretty stoked about. Shes already a good skiier, been on skis since she was 4 like myself and currently skis rossi B3s. She plays hockey and does track so she's in good shape, so she probably won't have much trouble. I'm...

Pick one movie to show your non-skiing/snowboarding friends

If you had to pick one movie with the intention of amazing your snowboarding or non-skiing friends with the progression of skiing, what would it be? For me, probably refresh, its got awesome cinematography and I like how it gives a little history lesson too. It's got the right mix of big...

    Mustang Enthusiasts?

a tad angry today are we? For your question, mustangs beat on the respective camaros and firebirds from the early 80's till 1993 when the fbodys got the corvette LT1. The 302 stang killed the 305 fbodys, even the L98 350 ones were a fair match. Even the times when the stang was underpowered...
