Damn, thanks tho. I need a new boot and had my mind set on some 1080's since last year. This new color is just butt-ugly and doesn't match any of my gear, and chances are im not going to find last years model easily either. I was looking in to the Salomon Course XT model on the Salomon site...

Has anyone seen the Salomon 1080 boot in a darker green finish than the one shown on the Salomon website? (which are the ones in 'green foil' which is more yellow to my eyes) I had these darker grass-green 1080's in my hands today... I was wondering if it was the 2004 model or some budget-model...

Oh and btw, im not hitting powder thát much, so it's not really important. I just need the ski to be able to be quite aggressive and react quick on the slopes. That thing someone said about slowing me down is a good point, but I still have some giant slalom skis lying around here, so again...
