Why wear tall tees on a Pow Day? Saw a dude and he was soaked on a pow day with his required tall tee sticking out.....funnest thing I have ever seen on the slopes, or are you all blind to the stupidity, like stopping in landing areas talking about how short your poles are? Serious question.

I am a snowboarder...I know shit about skis. My buddy is a newb skier, and "hates" pow. I tell him to get some fatty skis to enjoy Colorado's sick pow. What are cheap used options? Size? He is short, fat, and really athletic. Think a hockey playing Cartman from south park.
