Have to buy pass in Summer. Mammoth has a longer season pass sale period for 4 mountains, Mammoth included. They stay open as late Bg as possible, where Vail resorts does not. Have been at Heavenly with lots of coverage over the entire resort and powder everywhere and they closed at a set date VS Mammoth that truly caters to the customer! What is more, buying a Spring pass is possible at Mammoth ( all 4 resorts) California 4, and always has been good for the rest of the season and next! Never so with Vail Resorts in my experience! Mammoth is truly a skiers’ resort to that cares for the customer. I grew up skiing Heavenly and Mammoth and have observed these business practices for 4 decades, no changes. Mammoth has longer ski days!
