you're right - the reason is they don't know jack about cars. marketing works. Not that BMWs are bad cars - they make some pretty sick cars. But the fact that everyone and their brother thinks that BMWs are the ultimate cars means precisely zero.

Skier X really is like the Nascar of winter x - only exciting for the crashes. I think it kind of sucks - a lot of people needlessly getting hurt because of fitting like 6 guys on that course racing at the same time.
