bittersweet, timber ridge, crystal mountain. The skiing in Michigan sucks, though Crystal usually has a bad ass park.

jackson has one of the sickest backcountries anywhere. also, the skiers and the scene in jackson is unreal. pros and locals just rip together. the cliffs and kickers in the backcountry, oh i'm getting anxious just thinking about it.

volkl and marker go together well, but because of markers binding, they can eject a lot easier. I suggest a salomon binding for park and pipe consideration

A softer ski is usually associated with novice to intermediate skiers. However, twintip skis are not like other skis and a lot of people think softer is better. You have to try a harder ski in order to make the comparison. Go demo the Volkl V or something like that. Lines make a pretty soft ski.

jackson hole has a kick ass new pipe this year, but it just opened

I think ski tv is on fox sports, at least that's it's channel in michigan. They just had a whole special on half pipe, slopestyle, and big air.

telluride is phat. they opened a whole new area of backcountry this year.
