i dunno... some people seem to confuse step-up with a step-over... to me they are really two different types of jumps. if you look at the second pic i posted at the top, you can see the two types of jumps A step-up, the take-off is lower than the landing, and you STEP UP to the landing...

yeah exactly! it really IS bigger than it looks landing is super long... you can go deeep!!

I truly love those jumps!! it's too bad i've never seen one around here they are super safe since casing it doesn't really hurt and you can go sooo deep on a well buit one... great for learning or perfecting tricks safely here's a couple of shots from the hut/shack booter on blackcomb last...

I've been skiing on these skis for the last two seasons and still loving it. A ski usually doesn't last me more than a season, so this ski's pretty strong(the longest lasting pair i've had). I find it a little soft (5"11', 165) so if u are really tall and weigh more that may be an issue...

not very good since it's a UNIVERSITY!! jk, there's many mountains around Montreal, but you have to drive at least 40 min out of the city. The best and highest mountain around is undeniably Tremblant( 1 1/4 hours from MTL) but Avila, Bromont and Val St-Come are also very nice.
