It definetely opened October 15th last year; i was there opening day. Should be the 14th this year (saturday). Should be sick.

Loveland usually opens October 15th with A-basin and Copper opening up the next weekend. Theres usually two runs and a rail or two. It can get pretty crowded at A-basin early season.

Helly Hansen is the shit...Lasts forever, is completely waterproof, and looks pretty good too.

Does anyone know how Berthoud Pass is now?? November 7th? We havent gotten any snow in like a week, but I heard it was the place to go for early season hiking.

Hey, Is anyone from boulder headed up to A-Basin, or the pass this thursday through sunday and has an extra seat? My thursday classes got cancelled, so im off for a four day weekend with no ride. A ride for any of the days would be much appreciated.

Hey Im a student at CU Boulder, and I was wondering if anyone had a ride out to a-basin, or even to the pass for any of these four days. My classes got cancelled on thursday so ive got a four day weekend and no ride!?! Can anyone help me out?? I live on campus.

I know Im going up to Brighton, I heard they had 160 trails open and chest deep. I can't wait.

Is that date official? I've been checking the websites, along with coloradoski.com which has an opening day race web page (www.coloradoski.com/resorts/opening.cfm) and its hard to tell; in my opinion, they could open really soon, but loveland claims '24 inch base top to bottom, side to side...
