WTB: Attack of La Nina poster

I'm trying to find a poster from MSP's Attack of La Nina. I've been in contact with MSP and they tell me they don't have any left overs from the tour. I make skis in my shop at home, and this would make great framed shop artwork. I'm willing to pay a lot for one in perfect condition (no...

Black/Yellow stripey poles left at Snoqualmie

Like a dumbass, I left my poles laying near the snow bank on the road at Central. They are on the road DIRECTLY under the chair. There were only a few people up there today, so maybe someone from here saw them... doubt it. They are pretty obvious, bright yellow and black stripey tape on them...

    MISSION OPENS SATURDAY

anybody on here the guy with the giant white un-zipped coat and rasta skis up there today? you threw your beer off the chairlift, and that my friend is not cool. You do not belong in the mountains if you're going to do shit like that.

    MISSION OPENS SATURDAY

Last year when they opened since it was only one run it was super cheap (I want to say like $15??). Would be kinda lame if it was $50 this weekend. Doesn't someone here work there? Can you confirm ticket price?

    K2 warehouse sale?

Last year they had like a garage sale of sorts out on Vashon, a moving sale if you will. All kinds of stupid cheap stuff. I got snowshoes, some new 1260's for $30, a nice helmet. It was rad. I don't know if they do sales at the new location in Seattle, I doubt it though. I miss working at K2 :(

    Open mountains??

I'm not sure I get why you can't just look on the websites and find out for yourself? BUT - 1st, whistler is in BC, Canada, not washington. 2nd... no mountains are open, there is no snow. There's some mud. Thats about it.

Mohan Ski/Board School @ Summit central

many many years ago (talking like 15 years or so) John Mohan lived across the street from some very good friends of mine, so I met him a couple times, pretty sure I skied with him a few times. Seemed like a nice guy, I see the Mohan instructors all over the mountain. Probably an ok outfit to...

    Snow Watch 08/09

hahahahha, yep. He's in his room sleeping right now, at 4:30pm. If finals were that bad, he'd be studying or working on something. I will say that I don't envy you college kids at all. I leave work... and work stays there. Homework is for children. Now that said, this rain sucks.

So who is going to mission this weekend?

breezed through the story - something about 15 year olds getting high and drunk and driving "rally cars". omfg you drove an audi????!! Methinks our future economic problems aren't just rooted in our foreign oil dependence.

    Theoretical Question

from that list, I would say Hyak just because it is the closest to civilization (read: work... = boeing field) In reality I will be buying a house in North Bend. Close to work/city, and close to mountains.
