so.....pretty much any place that offers decent terrain? i could never understand why people hit that shitty ass park all day at snowbird.

in southern california. beach is about 2-3 hours away from the mountains. but if you're looking for easy access terrain then southern california's not the place especially if we don't receive too much snow. if you like park, however, then it's alright.

i used to think palisades was difficult until i saw a pic of tanner skiing it. palisades looks much more intimidating from the bottom than from the top and it's just for the "look-at-me!" goofs at squaw.
