Believe it or not: i just found out that the B1 in Europe is 70mm wide (4mm slimmer!!) and orange, not red. WTF?? They don't make the same skis everywhere????

Good point: i'm short (5'5) and 130lbs but pretty athletic (marathoner), advance skier that wants to improve his technique in moguls and ski with style on ice... I went to the shop yesterday, I was considering the 160. Should i go 168?

Hi, i'm done with the rentals that have no edge and am considering getting my own stuff: the new B1; i didn't try them and i don't think i'll get the chance unless i buy them. Are these OK on hard pack? I live on the East Cost (NY), ski mostly groomed & moggles but like to go in the trees...

La Clusaz is nice. I've heard it doesn't always get the best snow but the village is really cool. I don't know if it's open in winter, but if it is, you have to do the via ferrata: it is awesome! it's like 300 feet high and the view is gonna blow your mind.
