Aidan. I'l always remember the first time I saw you ski at JIBIJ summer camp in the spring of 2005. You couldn't of been more than 11 or 12 but your abilities and passion for skiing were so obvious as you stood out over everyone there. From there we'd chop it up on here in the forums before first really skiing together at a USSA slope style comp at Keystone that December. From then on you were someone I always looked forward to shredding with at the contests that brought us Coloradans together. Luckily less than 2 years later your family blessed the whole Roaring Fork Valley by relocating to Carbondale. I was so excited to have you in my area! From that point on, I finally had a friend that loved skiing as much as me (definitely more!) and someone to nerd out with about the newest Level1 or PBP vid. Seeing you progress those early years was incredible. I couldn't believe I had a friend that was doing 270's on to real street rails, and later doing double corks in big contests. Some of my best memories skiing & skating in the valley are with you! I know over the years we drifted apart and took different paths, though I still thought of you often. I really hope you are at peace now and shredding those deep pillow lines in the sky.
You'll never know how much you inspired me!
