Well naw i havent bought my boots yet. I priced some at the ski shop for around 200, and the salesman was trying to get me to let him fit them for me for another 200 dollars. I just didnt know if it was worth that for the little bit of time i ski.

I have been skiing for about 8 years now. I am interested in finally buying my own equipment and quit renting. I was wondering if it is really worth the extra 200 to 400 dollars to take my boots to a boot fitter, when I only going skiing about once or twice a year for about a day at a time...
