Some shots from a fun shoot yesterday evening. There aren't too many photo posts in here so I figured I'd throw one up with a subject that most people enjoy.

balcar aq 1200 power pack channeled through a single balcar iris head. I was putting all 1200w/s through the single head to tone down the background by two stops. Looking back upon the shot I should have used a 30degree grid to prevent the spill onto the snow in front of the wallride. Oh well...

not true at all. 1/60 of a second is actually pretty quick. if you are using a 10mm lens you can shoot at 1/10 of a second and get sharp pictures tack on image stabilization and you can go even further

Not my best but I like them Shot these in an abandoned mall last night. Lighting used was the balcar aq pack with two heads. light modifiers were minimal including one small chimera softbox, small strip light, and fx60 reflector.
