I hope you dont blame this on solomon like other NS haters. I dont know how you did that but it could have to do with how badly you maintain your skis. they need wax, they shouldnt be white. The edges need tuning badly.
The bases are white because I was not willing to wax a ski that was damaged like this. And the bases had gone 3 days since they were waxed anyway. Same with the edges. I was incredibly pissed off that the ski I'd had for 3 weeks was in this state, so left them in the car overnight, and hence some surface rust had formed. The edges had been detuned that morning, yet they still blew out.
