Yeah - Wakefield's style isn't too nice on those two jumps. He was doing nice flat 5s earlier in the day though. The little kid doing the 720 and 900 is 11 years old, so give him some credit - his style will come as he gets older. Mark Elliot was doing some really nice stuff that day - 540 lui kang poked right out, and huge corked 5 reverse tail - he should have won stopestyle definately, and probably big air too, but it seems the judges wewnt more on the difficulty, so Wakefield won both events. Mark did get £200 ($320) of Salomon vouchers for best unsponsored rider though, so that's something.
And there was definately some stylish stuff in the snowboard event. The kid in red is Jamie Nicol, 9 years old, pulling perfect 720s. He got 3rd place overall, beating a bunch of sponsored guys in their late teens. The guy with the black/blue base is a guy I ride with every week - his corked 5s are perfect - looks very like an undeflip in skiing - he came away from the event with £400 ($640) of vouchers, a Ride snowboard and a Trespass jacket.
