Awesome pic steeve. I woulda moved the framing up a little for less water and more bridge, but at the same time, the reflection of the bridge is nice. Good work!
That'd be the skeena river, one of the longest rivers in BC. There was a seal in there, but there's not much you can do with the 35-105mm (35mm equiv) lens on a digi P&S. Much less 500mm.
