haha i was there when that happened. dumbass ski patrol blew too much snow on the headwall and it slipped.

Phrosty's right, why else do you think avalanches are dangerous? Cause soft fluffy powder covers you? No, because the friction of the falling snow melts it and then when it's settled it freezes again so you're under a shat load of icy, crusty ass snow.

Yep yep, you can see up top where the headwall broke and then the majority of the snow that ran off was piled up to my left, not in the pic.
