rebel Dec 31, 1969 Formal is tuxedos. You could also see 3 peice suits, double breasted suits or a nice 4 button suit. A 3 or 4 button suit is appropriate for semi formal. Dude on right or a jacket over a sweater (no tie) would be dressy.
