im not sure cuz i cant see your yard in person, but from this pic you might not even need that drop in if your box is going to be low to the ground. im using a hill about the same slope as yours (mines about twice as long though) and i just use my poles to push. artificial turf works good as long as you water that shit down real good before you hit it up.
