Yes ^, and if you get injured you are damn well screwed! don't you people get it. some of you say whoa you should make a sweet kikker off that serac (glacial ice structure) or that huge wind lip... or the idiotic, 'huck yourself off that cravase!' If you're not with MSP and don't have a helicopter flying over your head, worse comes to worse, you break your leg and are many miles away from civilization. this isn't a short hike out of the ski area, this is fucking far away. i understand that you east coasters don't quite understand this phenomena, but if you don't have a helicopter full of crew ready to dig you out of an avalanche or fly you to the nearest hospital you could be dead.
